Project Overview

Terminal Capacity of 140,000 to 172,000 bpd

The mechanical scope of work was comprised of:

• 50,000 man hours 14,782 linear feet of 8”pipe average NPS;
• Installation of new crude oil processing piping system;
• Crude oil sampling system;
• Crude oil vapour collection and destruction system;
• Compressed air system for controls;
• Instrument air, and air tools;
• Hot water system for showers, eyewashes and wash down water;
• Oil Water separators; and
• Loading Rack Terminal Building ventilation system for 31 railcar crude loading facility.

The electrical scope of work was comprised of:

• Electrical room main power distribution;
• Three power distribution switchracks;
• Three i/o cabinets inside the Loading Rack Terminal Building;
• One i/o cabinet at the strainer area;
• One PLC cabinet in the electrical room;
• VCU control panels in the electrical room; and
• Instrument wiring, heat grounding an automation system.
